Obituary for Betty J. Blackburn

Betty J. Stiltner Blackburn, age 84, of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Saturday evening February 10,2018, at her home following an extended illness. Betty was born at McAndrews, Kentucky October 12, 1933, the daughter of the late Ballard and Myrtle Bevins Stiltner. Her husband, John L. Blackburn preceded her in death July 3, 2002. Betty also had two brothers, Bill and Joe Stiltner and one sister, Garnet Justice that preceded her death.

Mrs. Blackburn worked many years as a deputy Pike County clerk, and was a member of the Pikeville Free Will Baptist Church since December 2, 1973.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Jonda B. (Jim) Patton of Pikeville, Kentucky and Tonya B. (Rocky) May of Kimper, Kentucky. She has two living brothers, Jack (Juanita) Stiltner of Phyllis, Kentucky and Jim (Eloise) Stiltner of Danville, Kentucky, she also has two sisters, Sue Estepp of Columbus, Ohio and Brenda (Bob) Spears of Kimper, Kentucky.
Betty is also survived by her "Adopted In Love" daughter, Tammy McKinney and her Caregivers, Karen Elliott, Shelly and Addie Kate Goble, Donna Hernandez, Teresa MacDonald and Emogene Newsome.

Betty will be sadly missed and forever loved by her nieces and nephews and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

Visitation will be at J. W. Call & Son Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 P.M. Monday February 12, 2018 and will continue Tuesday.

The funeral will be at Pikeville Free Will Baptist Church Wednesday February 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Free Will Baptist Ministers Officiating
The visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Robin Belcher, Jacob Coleman, Ron Coleman, Danny Justice, Billy Stiltner, Dean Stiltner, Trevor Stiltner and Tony Thomas.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be, Don Bevins, Danny Blankenship, Chris Brooks, Gene Brooks, Norman Dye, Tim Dye, Kenny Hamilton, John Harris, Barry Justice, Donald Keathley, Phillip Keathley, Jessie Kendrick, Jimmy McKinney, John Newsome, Henry Shepherd, Chris Smith, Bob Spears, Jeremy Stiltner, Jimmy Stiltner, Robert Stiltner, Ronnie Thompson, Robert Watson and Cecil Williams.

The burial will follow at the Blackburn Cemetery at Upper Johns Creek.
