Obituary for Bobby Lee Borders

Bobby Lee Borders age 90 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his home.
He was a businessman, a member of the First Baptist Church of Pikeville where he served as a Deacon and was active in Sunday School. He actively supported Habitat for Humanity and was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Bob was born at Thacker Mines, West Virginia on December 31, 1927 the son of the late Charles and Lurlie Young Borders.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William R. Borders and Curtis M. Borders.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Dheel Borders, a son, Kenneth Lee (Tammy) Borders of Louisa, Kentucky and a daughter, Karen (Marc) Tressler of Gallatin, Tennessee.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Emily Sargent (Jeremy), Stephen Borders (Bethany), Katherine Borders, Ethan Tressler and Ryan Tressler and two great-grandchildren, Connor Sargent and Owen Sargent.
