Obituary for Thomas David Collins

Thomas David Collins, age 79, of Pikeville, Kentucky Passed away Saturday December 2, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center at 2:11 P.M.. Thomas was the son of the late King David and Mercy Thacker Collins. He was born in Upper Pompey, Kentucky January 23, 1938. Thomas was also predeceased by two brothers, Anderson and Lonnie Collins.
Thomas was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship Church and a retired United Mine Workers Association Coal Miner.
Mr. Collins is survived by; his wife-Phyllis Ann Lowe Collins, His two sons- Keith Collins and his wife Brenda of Pikeville, Kentucky, and David Michael Collins and his wife Jacqueline of McDowell, Kentucky, his five brothers-Doug Collins of Shelbiana, Kentucky, Curt Collins of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, Don Collins, Herman Collins, and Refford Collins of Chillicothe, Ohio, his two sisters-Mary Lou Mullins of Robinson Creek, Kentucky, and Nancy Sue Thacker of Shelbiana, Kentucky. Thomas was also the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Thomas will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
