Obituary for Glen Leslie "Sonny" Damron

Glen Leslie "Sonny" Damron, age 75 of Whitesburg, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was a Bell South cable repairman for 32 years, a member of the Bell South Pioneers and the Communication Workers of America. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Sonny was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on July 26, 1943 the son of the late Bernard and Margie Helvey Damron.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dollie Billiter.
He is survived by his wife, Lana "Sis" Spears Damron, one son, Mark (Alice Faye Gilley) Damron of Premium, Ky. and two daughters, Sheri Lynn Damron Green of Cayce, South Carolina and Susan Damron of Hi Hat, Ky.
One brother of Paul Edward Damron of High Point, North Carolina and one sister, Doris Layne of Winchester, Ky.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Katelyn Leslie Green, Jeffrey William Green and Lana Nicole Damron
