Obituary for Goldia Childers

Goldia Childers age 91 of Belcher, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Ferrell’s Creek Church of Christ.

Goldia was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on November 10, 1927 the daughter of the late Oliver and Lilly Ratliff Hackney.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Childers and two brothers, Virgil Hackney and Denver Hackney and two sisters, Oler Wellman and Shirley Hunt.

She is survived by one son, Rodney Childers of Elkhorn City, Ky. and one daughter, Pamela (Bayard) Collier of Pikeville, Ky.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, Rebecca Roberts, Caitlin Collier, Greg Childers, Robby Childers, Kristie Childers and Brooke Childers and several great-grandchildren.
