Obituary for Randall Lee Blackburn

Randall Lee Blackburn, age 69, of Stanville, Kentucky passed away Thursday January 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born December 5, 1949 at the Pikeville Methodist Hospital a son of the late Otis and Eleanor Belle Blackburn. Randall was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in Horticulture. He enjoyed a career as a reclamation specialist, first as co-owner of Coalfields Reclamation and later as a consultant with Tee Engineering in Stanville. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Allen, Kentucky.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Dwight Blackburn.
Randall is survived by his son, Ethan Wade (Tristan) Reynolds Blackburn of Louisville, Kentucky: three grandchildren; William James Blackburn, Eleanor Rose Blackburn and Caroline Grace Blackburn: four brothers; Otis Michael Blackburn of Stanville, Kentucky, Don Franklin (Melissa) Blackburn of Lexington, Kentucky, Gerald Keith (Monie Sue) Blackburn of Stanville, Kentucky and Tim Wesley Blackburn of Lexington, Kentucky: two sisters; Carol Faye (Hobert) Blackburn-Dye of Harold, Kentucky and Lita Kim Blackburn of Stanville, Kentucky.

He is also survived by a true loving and faithful friend, Paula Smith: seven nieces, seven nephews, eight grand-nieces and seven grand-nephews.

There will be a private graveside memorial for family.
