Obituary for Ronald Dean Compton

Ronald Dean Compton, age 68 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky.
He was a longtime employee of UPS.
Ron was born in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of the late Lee and Iva West Compton.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Howell Compton on December 23, 1998. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Compton and Fletcher Compton.
He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Lane Scalf (Mitchell) of Pikeville, Ky. and Brooke Anne Henage (Eric) of Union, Ky. and one brother, Larry Compton of Island Creek.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Morgan Ley Ratliff, Ava-Kate Henage, Benjamin Davis Henage, Samuel Owen Henage and Luke Thomas Henage.
