Obituary for Margaret Ann Wright

Margaret Ann Scalf Wright, age 82 of Stanville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her home.

She retired from Gene and Mike’s Music Shop and was an inductee in the Women’s International Bowling Hall of Fame and an avid UK Basketball Fan. She was a member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Church.

Margaret was born at Endicott, Kentucky on March 16, 1936 the daughter of the late Ervin Lee and Violet Runyon Scalf.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest “Ernie” Wright on March 11, 2014. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, John Scalf, Bill Jack Scalf, William Scalf and Joe Robert Scalf and four sisters, Juanita Collins, Josephine Collins, Jane Clark and Rosalee Scalf.

She is survived by her brother, Dean Scalf of Stanville, Ky. and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her buddy, Cameron Wright and her caregivers, Peggy Collins and Connie Kidd.
